Yes, start by reading the articles on this forum. Read the forums of interest, and post questions to those forums. Be sure to include all the tank parameters in your post.

Believe NOTHING told to you by your local fish store. Read up on the right way to cycle your tank FIRST. Research, research, research. Ask question, HERE.

And get ready to do lots of partial water changes!
