Hi, I have been on a forum a little while now and I have gotten fantastic advice. I have a 60g that currently has a hang on filter. It has been running for about 7 months now. I am wanting to make a sump. I also have a 20g tank and the plumbing and pumps figured out.
I am wanted advice on what to put into the sump. I want to either separate it into 3 or 4 chambers. First the skimmer. If I do 3 chambers the second will be a Refugium. Then third will be return pump. If I do 4 I would just add some kind of filter media.
Is it ok to do both? If so, should it go filter media then Refugium or Refugium then filter media?
