AquaClear/Fluval surface skimmer attachment?

I have seen, separately, an AquaClear surface skimmer attachment and also a Fluval surface skimmer attachment.

My question is...

Are these two products the same? Will they work on an AquarClear power filter, or just a Fluval canister?
I currently have 2 AC 70 (300) power filters, and was looking at purchasing one if they are available, they looked interesting.

Hagen's website only shows the Fluval surface skimmer.

So I am not sure. I have seen both labelings in Big Al's catalog, and thatpetplace.com's catalog. So I know I am not seeing things.

The one I have was made by Hagen specifically for the Fluval, but I imagine any canister (or even PH) could be used if the inlet matches the surface skimmer's 3/4" hose.
