Hey guys,

Anyone in the Sydney area know somewhere good to buy these?
I've got a 4x2x2 and i want one of the 3d backgrounds to cover the cables and tubes etc.

I've called a couple of places and they're looking at $250 approx.

Anyone know anywhere cheaper?

Yeah saw one on there but missed out on it. Now all i can find are the crappy paper things for the outside.

How about this?

Thats look spretty good, looks like a night sky.
I was looking for one of the rock wall type ones.

I'll just keep checking ebay and stuff.

the only place i've seen them is st george aquariums at rockdale, and yes they are very expensive.

Auburn aquarium have them for about $230 AUD.

And a thinner one for $130 AUD.
Might have a look at them.

Just curious, are you looking for a background to insert inside the tank or external? I had posted a link to the pangea line of backgrounds a month or so ago(in this section, I think), but they are in the UK, I believe, and are VERY expensive.

If you can't find the 3D background you desire, the photo backgrounds can look reasonably good. Here is the one I just attached to my tank. (However, the soapy water doesn't appear to be holding it flush to the tank for more than a week or so, and I am going to try the vegetable oil route next, I think.)

Regards,

Gary
