Aquarium safe silicone?

I went to home depot and wasn't sure which brands were silicon safe. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

GE window sealant thats clear. makes sure its 100% silicon.jus sealed a big tank with it works great.

Loctite also make a 'Clear Silicone Waterproof Sealant' that explicitly says it's safe for aquariums

Most will say this so they are not liable if something happens but most 100% silicone will work just don't cheap out go for a trusted brand

Make sure it is either GE Silicone I, or says 100% silicone or that it is foodsafe. If it makes any mention of being anti-fungal or germicidal, you dont want it. GE Silicone II is anti-fungal, and contains a toxin.

What stores do you think would sell these besides a home depot? Also, where can I get a check valve?

Lfs for the check valve or eBay you can get 10 for like 3 bucks silicone at Wally world or any building supplier
