Could you add artificial plants from craft stores to your tank ?

If so, what materials ? What would I look for ? Any precautions I should take, like soaking in vinegar ? I was thinking those cloth like materials but I don't know because of the dyes. Plastic ?

That's a tricky one.. Really worth the risk? I'd get all the info on the material and research the heck out if it..
