Dimmable or not??

Im thinking if getting on the Chinese led wagon. For the price they look great. Is it worth it to spend the extra money for a dimmable version? I'm not sure if I will need 2 fixtures or not. I want to sit them on my glass lid so I'm not blinded on the couch! Any advice?

I'm not sure if you can with those but I have some good quality LEDs that I add an inline dimmer from Home Depot to.

Get the dimmable ones. The taotronics LEDs pack a punch and manyrun them quite low.

I was looking at the taotronics! The only negative I've read is the fan noise. I'm just not sure if I will need 1 or 2 fixtures on my 40 breeder

I have three and hear very little noise

I run 2 over my 55, but one should cover a 40. IDK if I'd put it on the glass, I would have it raised above it some.

Sniperhank- do you have the taotronics kind? Are the fans noisy?

Ok next question. Is it worth to have more colors besides blue and white? I found a unit that also has 2 red green purple and a different blue. Also a dimmable unit. Do they extra colors make a big difference ?
