Can u underlow a hob overflow box?? I ask because i late night amazon'd an overflow for a 125g+... I'm only setting up a 75g with a sump? Will it be okay as long as my pump is good enuff?

In my opinion, yes. I've had micro-bubbles build up and form an air bubble in my U-pipes before. If you have the flow fast enough this won't happen as the flow will carry the forming air bubbles right on through.

Yeah as long as your pump's gph rate is lower than your hob maximum gph by not so much you should be fine.

Freshwater or saltwater? In salt we like our water to move slowly pass the skimmer. In fresh it really doesn't matter unless you're looking for anaerobic areas...
