Aquarium Advice Activist
I have a 65 gal. aquarium and at this time all I have on it is a 25watt floramax bulb. I am thinking of buying a 78watt T5HO light this weekend but I'm not sure if it is enough for plants. It comes with one white bulb and one pink both are 39watts. Anything is better than I have now I guess, but I want to get an idea of what I need for the plants. The plants currently in my tank are a giant amazon sword, many java ferns, Anubias nana and some Telanthera Cardinalis(I know the last on list is a high light plant ,but I want to stay at most med .light because I don't want to worry about co2 yet.) Thanks for any input
