opinions wanted please!!

I was thinking of changing my coral gravel for sand this afternoon. Where does every1 stand on the whole gravel vs sand debate? OPINIONS PLEASE.

Sand is easy to clean and looks so nice. It's a bit if a pain prepping it and clearing up the water afterwards but it really is worth it! What type of setup is this?

It's a 500 litre tropical set up. I've already changed it now. It looks better.

I used play sand that I had rinsed several times and put in my tank. I have lots of tank stone, but i wanted something different. I love the sand. Make sure your filters are off until it settles. The sand is not good on your filter. When you clean the bottom of the take keep the tank vac 1/2" from the bottom. It picks up the poo. Once a month turn over the sand to let the gasses out that is trapped under the sand and you will be good to go.
