overflow box for 100gallon reef tank
curious as to how big of an over flow box i need and pump for my new 100gallon tank. ive seen them in sizes of 600 1200 and 1600.

Most of it depends on how large of a sump you are going to use. You wouldn't want 1200+ gph flowing through a 20 gal sump. Personally I think 800-1200 GPH is more then enough if considering a 30+ gal sump. Having said that I'd still buy an overflow that is rated higher like the CPR CS102 which handles up to 1400 GPH.
