I have always used marineland stealth heaters which show no indication that he heater is on. My aga 200watt has an orange light on inside of it near the top. I was just making sure that the light is a good thing. I i think i am just paranoid about heaters cracking etc after hearing stores. :?

Thanks!

I use titanium for my SW tanks. I have two brand new stainless steel heaters, that I ordered on accident.

I read in the manual that the light means its on.

As of now the heater has been on for 20 minutes and it has only brought the tank for 68 to around 70/71. I didnt have to wait this long with the marineland. I am close to putting in that one even though its only a 50 watt.

Even though the Visi-Therm has no light, use it. I never have trusted any heater other than Visi-Therm
(Visi-Therm Deluxe/Visi-Therm Stealth)
