Howdy all!
Just wondering if anybody else is using this item. Couldnt resist up to a year of non-stop testing for ten bucks. Even if it only lasts 3 its the same price as strips or drops.
So far ive found this product spot on accurate. Ive located it near an sponge filter topped with a powerhead to ensure a good wash of water gets over it every day. The beige to light blue might get tuff to read in low light some times but the second test range is only .002 ppm of ammonia. Just enuf to let you know whats up n coming. Suction cup has never let loose. Instructions were mega easy. Insert. Stick wait 4 hours before first reading. After that readings are accurate to within 15 mins. To test this, and the accuracy of ur tester. Instruction say to waft over and open bottle of ammonia. Instant color change from beige to deep blue.
Seachem also makes a deluxe version with ph and other goodies
Any other thoughts or experiances with this item???
