Guess I'll just send em back.. I liked the 160 degree arc they put out... but I won't keep something that won't come back on when the power is applied to it again.. that's just silly imho..

that only happened one time and i have been running two since sept. turning them off at least once a day since then. many powerheads are not meant to be turned on and off often. i think it has something to do with the impellar being able to stop in "dead spot" maybe someone else can give a more accurate description. i have had maxijets not come back on right away much more often

Well that sucks haha, i just got the wave master pro for christmas and bought those pumps for it guess i made the wrong choice. ill just have to hook up the little ones i had before to it.

probably a controller like the tunze, taht doesn't actually cut power, instead it just cycles down the power to say 20-30% so that it really never stops running just the spin is so slow you dont get much/any current from it...

the tunze systems work like that, but cost next to nothing... now if you can DIY that, I might test it

Fish=1 yellow tang, 1 yellow headed jawfish, 1 pink/blue shrimpgoby, 2 perc clowns.
Future fish = 1 sixline, 1 lawnmower blenny

ozzreef has a DIY for a similar designed controller but its a bit too much radioshack for me.. well.. for now anyway (I might get into that stuff some other time)

I used to have trouble getting my 620 to restart but I have been ok lately. I have moved it a few times and it has come back on.

*180 gal Display, 100 gal basement sump, 33 gal refugium, 3x250 MH, 2x160 VHO actinics, zoos, some softies, LPS & lots of acros and other SPS.
*100 gal prop tank plumbed into main system w/ 2x96 PC lights and 1x150 MH,
