I am about to start a 120 gallon SW tank I plan on doing corals down the line.

I am just really confused on all the lighting terminology etc etc.

The the tank is 5 feet long and 18 inches wide
It has a center bracket on top that splits it into to two 30 inch halves

I plan on keeping the glass lids on both sides of the tank

I was thinking of getting two of these and put one on each side resting on the glass

30 Inch Coralife Lunar Aqualight T5 Lamp High Output Fixture

Any help or opinions/advice would be greatly appreciated
:thanks::thanks::thanks:

How deep is the tank? I have a 125g and have a 12 bulb(6x2 rows) of 36w t5ho light. The depth of the tank and what corals will determine your lighting needs. Oh, and get a fixture with individual reflectors(each bulb has it's own reflector) that helps out a bunch.

tank is a little under 26 inches deep

exact measurements are 60x18x26

Suns Aquarium light T5 high output 60 Inch 378W was looking at this one

depnding on the corals you want, that fixture would work. If you want the corals that demand high light, you will have to use a metal halide or led fixture.
