What filters better?

I have a 30 gallon FOWLR. And I have penguin 200 filter and a fluval 405 what one would be better or both?

You can never go wrong by doing both. I dont use a filter or a canister on mine. IMO in that size tank plenty of LR and PH`s to push the water around with frequent PWC`s would do the job.

I already have the penguin filter but I was going to buy te fluval filter. So it is good with the penguin?

Do you have any LR? If so the penguin + LR + PH`s to push the water around will work. No LR I would use both to be safe.

Yeah i have about 60lbs of live rock.

You should not need the the canister then.
