New 29g planted

It's been up and running strong ad a fry tank. I finally added sand/coral and a few plants from my 55. And a sweet banjo cat. What do ya think?

Looks cool yo! I used to have mixed sand like that, changed it out though. IMO your tank would look 10 times better with all black sand...

Love the banjo cat. I miss mine from one of my old 55s. I think the sand is great. Doesn't look like anybody else's on the site. You gotta go with your own sense of style.

Thanks! I just used all of the leftover sands from my many 5 gallons. I think the banjo has narcolepsy lol he's swims for a sec then just stops mid stride hahaha.

They imitate leaves or twigs drifting in a stream as camouflage. It's amazing to watch.

It is an assassin snail. They are sweet!
