New member! Here's my 30 gallon tank. I have had it for about 10 years but recently completely redid it (last month) with real soil, gravel on top. I kept my old resin decoration on the right. I'm slowly adding live plants (all on the left/middle).

I have it set up in front of a full open window that gets maybe 1-2 hours of direct sunlight per day (at least in the swing of summer). The back is open with some 5% automotive tinting.

I have a few small fish and some shrimp/snails and plecos. My main fish is an 8 year old goldfish that got migrated to the aquarium after I removed my outdoor pond (had 5 originally and he is the only survivor).

Anywho, hope to contribute to the community.
