This is a vid of my tank. A few things have changed I now have a few new corals. I had an ich break out so I decided to set up a qt and do a copper ich treatment. I also bought an octopus skimmer because I felt like a protien skimmer is needed in the type of tank I want to creat. Only thing I'm not sure of is if I should keep my aqua clear 70 on the tank with the protien or should I remove it?

I decided to do a refugium with my HOB filter. Im going to put chaeto in it with few peices of live rock and a clip on light. The Reef Octopus BH-1000 was kind of a pain to get working correctly but now that Iv got everything worked out it works amazingly, no micro bubles at all and its been running about 3 days. At first there were a crazy amount of bubbles and the skimmer didnt seem to be working right. however now its doing so much better, started collecting brown liquid in the cup and has quited down a lot.

Also added a Royal Gramma

This is a video of my tank with some of my new stuff.

My tank is now fully stocked with
2 clowns
1 royal gramma
1 mccoskers flasher wrasse
1 yellow watchman with a tiger pistol shrimp they are paired up
2 emerald crabs
12 nassarias snails
6 dwarf hermits
6 Cerith snails

Scored a sweet peice of rock today it's about 2 inches long and an inch thick. The rock is covered in Blue sympodium polyps with about 6 or 7 heads of Flaming sun polyps. The flaming sun poly has a orange outer ring with blue center and an orange eye in the middle of it. They are very good looking and healthy. The frag cost 20$ but felt it was well worth it, I haven't seen either of these corals at any of my lfs yet and I love polys so just couldn't pass it up.

heres a pic of the frag

Wow looks so good. Do you think it's better to go with lots of frags rather than a few larger corals?

I'm a big fan of frags. I must have 30 of them lol. They are so much cheaper and in a few months they grow so it's not a big deal to me. I do on occasion buy large corals for alot more $$ but only if I absolutely LOVE the coral. :)

i have 22 frags in my 25 i think, Im patient and my LFS sells large frags for 10$-15$ most being 10$ and the larger corals are like 75+ and I enjoy the growth the most anyways, Also i feel that the coral will grow to fit my tank apposed to buying a larger one that has grown in another tank.

Well I thought I would add some updated Pictures of the tank. Love the ATI lights have already seen an improvement in my corals since adding the lights.

I Am trying to learn all the names of my corals so Im 100% sure on all of them so please help me out if I dont know the name or I get it wrong. Ill # them so its easier to tell me what one is what.

Tomorrow Im going to maybe get 20 lbs of base rock to start the cycle on my new 20gallon im setting up as SW because I decided my tank was over stocked and so Im removing the Wrasse and Royal Gramma because the clowns are just to aggressive and I want to get my bio load under control because I hate a messy looking tank and its my own fault for over stocking the thing. I mean its only 25 gallons what was i thinking when I decided I could have 5 fish in it...the wrasse just needs to be in a tank I can feed daily anyways he got WAY to skinny on the every other day feeding and was looking super stressed from all the aggression and lack of food.

Im thinking of maybe Having my stock in my 25 be 2xClowns, Scooter Blenny, Starry blenny. still trying to figure out how the scooter and stary will get along.

The base rock I bought for my tank just doesn't look as good as the Fiji rock I got. I bought mostly premo rock except for the base which is from Arizona. I only have ten pounds of the base luckily
