Powder blue tang an blue jaw trigger

I have these to fish the trigger is about 5 inches an the pb is about 3 inches the trigger was in the tank first the pb was intoduced a week ago doin great but wen te lights go out the blue jaw trigger attacks the pb this happens 2 days in a row so last light I took te blue jaw trigger into a. 36 gallon qt tank should I wait a couple day then out him back into my display tank to see what happens or what shoul i do I don't want to give him up he's a great fish an I also don't wan him killing my pb any advise
