Not eggs...swordtails are live bearers and yes, she definitely looks preg.

You can just let the fry take their chances growing up with the adults.

Chances are most will be eaten...but if you have lots of hiding places and plants(mine are all fake) you might have a few survive...you could also get a breeder net but that could stress mom out.. I wait till my guppies drop their fry and net the babies and put them in the breeder net. (But im still pretty new to this) I have been able to save 15 from 3 different drops...just rehomed the oldest of the bunch.

As she gets closer to dropping, her dark spot will lighten up a little. That's your sign it will be soon.
