Breeding Geman Blue Rams and bloodfin tetras.

So, today my newest additions, 6 bloodfin tetras, laid about 50 eggs. Any special care for them thanks.



Also, cold i get some info on breeding GBRs? id like to begin breeding them on purpose lol.

how do you know the tetras laid eggs? They are scatterers so they are usually hidden in the substrate. Are you sure the rams didn't lay eggs?

Positive. Firstly cuz i dont have any GBRs yet. secondly because my gravel is dotted with eggs...

lol lol lol lol, but i heard somewhere, anothe forum probably, that if you breed enough fry, they can be used as cichlid food. lol.

Sure, you could use them as feeders. Livebearer fry are the best for that since they are much easier to breed, plus they are much larger than most egglayer fry.
