Breeding ramshorn snails, help me id this please.

I just noticed one of my ramshorn snails has this funky substance on its body. Could someone tell me if it is eggs maybe, even though they have laid eggs all over my tank and they look nothing like the jelly like sacs on my aquarium glass, or something more sinister?
Also, I just got the snails off eBay and noticed all of them have the white spots. Are they calcium deficient?
