Curious platy fry

I'm so sorry I didn't respond sooner! They are gorgeous, and aside from the Mickey Mouse pattern on the tail of your blue one, your fry are identical to mine! I've just this minute noticed that in my most recent batch (2weeks old), I have another blue one with the stripe. The rest are like your yellow wags. I've noticed my yellow ones have a blue sheen around their middles too. You? Thanks for posting!

Yeah, my yellow wags also have the sheen. But it's so little that you can almost see the certain scales it is on, like little dots. As far the Mickey Mouse pattern, that also formed later. They didn't have that at birth or a young age. Hope your fish are growing and doing well! My drop of blues and yellow wags are getting ready to have their first drops!
