So, if I fill my 37 gallon tank with 4 males and 12 females, will my tank become overcrowded quickly? How fast?:fish2:

Well if you are heavily planted or remove fry from main tank you'll be overrun very quickly
Here is a formula for how many fry on average((X)20 fry being average) in how many months(M) with your number of females(F). N is number of fry
(MxX)F=N

What Emerald meant to say in english was ~ within a few months = way too many dadgum fish!

Yup! It's more fun the other way though

You will have lots of babies but if you keep it under control you can get store credit for some fry
