Ok, I went to the petshop to buy three platies, one male, two females. When I got there, all the fish seemed to have pointed anal fins, and looked like they were all males. I asked the clerk, who said that they only had what was in that tank, and that she didn't really know the difference. She said they hadn't ordered just males, and that they just wanted assorted platies. So I just bought one, and decided I would have to find females another time. So I brought my little cutie home, and got him adjusted, and then left home for a little while. When I got back, I looked at his anal fin, and it had fanned out! I was certain that it was pointed in the shop, too. I am confused. Boy or girl?
