there are about 20 orange eggs behind my filter. on of the catfish is garding it. should i remove the egges or let them look after them?
Hi, If by catfish - you mean Cory - they do not guard their eggs - they generally eat them. Your choices are to remove the fish - or the filter w/the eggs. The latter is the easiest. Place in a container using the same water, use one drop of methyline blue per gallon to kill any fungus and provide a medium current via an airstone. In 3 to 4 days you should have wigglers. Suggest you prepare some bbs to begin feeding after day 2 or 3. Good luck. - Frank/Guppyman®ieatkangaroos said:Should i remove the egges or let them look after them? Quote edited by - Frank/Guppyman®
