I would like to have a breeding pair of clown plecos in my other 55 gallon tank. I already have one but its less than an inch. My lfs only sells them that small. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You'll be waiting a while to sex it. If you're going to be waiting I suggest you go buy a few more. They are cheap enough and as you raise them you'll see the differences sexually and then get rid of the extras rather you trade them back to you lfs or give them away
