Swordtail fry...need advice

My swords are delivering their fry. I have never had swordtails before and so far I have about 8 small babies in a breeder net. My question is how small of food do I need to feed them and how much per day? When do I release them from the net? When they are big enough to NOT be eaten? If anyone has any suggestions or helpful comments please let me know. My kids and I are thrilled. This is our first fry! Thanks!

Congrats. You can feed them well crushed flake food. I would feed small amounts twice to 3 times per day. Small amounts being key. When they are bigger than the mouths of the other tankmates you can release them.

They can have over 30 quite easily.
