i exeded my quota and have tryed to go back to my old posts and delete pictures. the posts have nowere for me to click edit though? can someone help?

I believe you need to delete them from the User CP.
Click the User CP link at the top of the screen. Then click Pictures and Albums from the menu on the left hand side of the screen. Delete a picture from there. That should free up some space for you.
Pictures you post in a thread do not count towards your quota. Only ones uploaded through the User CP count towards that quota. At least that is my understanding.

im confused... whats the user cp link look like? i only post pics. the only pic i have uploaded is my avatar....

i dont have any albums, should i? ther are no pics to delete...

Go to user cp (as pictured above)... then manage attachments (it's down the list on the left). This will show all pictures that you've attached to posts. You'll have the option to delete each one. Just know that any you delete will be removed from past posts.
