The standard solution for app associated issues is to uninstall, reboot your phone and then reload the app. Hopefully this will help.

Still no avatar for me.

The app has been glitchy in general lately. I've received messages saying "you do not have permission to post on these forums" when trying to simply edit a post. Once or twice a day I get a message stating "could not connect to the forums, if the problem persists contact forum administrator" when I have full signal on 4G.
