What's safe to clean my glass?

Hello all! Is there anything that is safe to clean the outside of my glass? I've been using a damp rag and wiping it off but it's still streaking.

Also, the inside of my tank looks a little grimey on the back glass of the tank. Can I put a clean rag in the water and wipe it down or will that disturb my fish?

for the outside, you can spray windex on the paper towel (just make sure you do this away from the tank so you dont get it in the water) and wipe it off that way. As long as you dont get windex in the tank you'll be fine. As for the inside, an algea scrubber or magnet scraper would work, but correct me if im wrong, but in sw, dont you want algea on the back?

I have no clue. I'm still new to this so I'm not sure what is normal and what's not.

You can also use vinegar/water mix for the outside. I use a metal razor blade to clean what my mag float doesn't get. I just rinse the blade in water and dry it off when I'm done and use a new one if it gets rusty.

I have no clue. I'm still new to this so I'm not sure what is normal and what's not.

There is no right or wrong answer as to what to do with the back glass. If you want the back glass clean, then you'll have to scrape it or clean it like you do the front glass. If you want the back glass covered with coralline algae, then just let it go "natural" and don't mess with it.

My fish take care of my back glass. I would never put a rag inside the tank and clean the glass. Use some type of scrapper as mentioned above.

I clean the back of my glass with algae scraper.... + my yellow eye and algae blenny do some damage themselves...
