Aquarium Advice FINatic
oh
There are lots of things people don't know and if you don't ask you may never know.
Yes I will have water being pumped in a closed loop system to dissipate the heat outside of the house. So your going to run water through the copper? Will the LEDs be on the acrylic? Or will the LEDs be on the aluminum then the copper?
How do you think they connect copper pipe? I just couldn't get one part hot enough... Got a hotter gas and now it's done Tomorrow I pressure test the pipe and I try to fill in the gaps of aluminum and copper with solder.Oh and copper doesn't solder for some reason in my experience. I tried soldering copper coated wire to a piece of steel. It just wouldn't go. I had to sand paper the copper off.
Thanks welcome aboardAmazing Thread, keep up the good work

She is quite proudNo coralline algae just diatoms. Do you think the bacteria and algae would be affected by the change cold to warm? And your daughter looks quite proud of her new fish home haha.
I think he was more concerned about the PH then the algae formation. Nice rock. Should work out fine.
+1You could wear Sun Glasses. lol You might want to check with the local "DLNR" and see what they say.
Hey, just something I thought to do; I plugged your tank's dimensions (72x30x39) into a volume calculator (Calculating Aquarium Volume - The First Tank Guide - How Can I Figure Out How Much Water My Fish Tank Holds?) and it came out with 364.7 gallons. Where are you coming up with 320, or as in your "My Tanks," 330? Are there really 34.7 or 24.7 gallons lost to the overflow?
That volume is lost due to the almost 1" of glass on all 4 sides :?
