One large aquarium plant

[Big Dog]

This is a plant that I just took out of my 75 gallon planted aquarium last night. It was taking over the whole aquarium. It been in my aquarium for only 6 months and it got this big. It was only 3" tall when it when in the aquarium. Let me know what you all think of this bad boy.

Wow I have had mine for more then 6 months and it not even a 4th the size of that! what size tank do you have?

I have a 75 gallon aquarium. It was a big shock to me all so when I took it out of the aquarium.

I would love a big plant like that although it sounds like I would have to trim it because I have a 75 gallon 2 what u gonna do with it?

I thought I would make a very large sald out of it. LOL I sold it to our local fish store. Some one will have a large aquarium for this bad boy. Thanks so much for liking it.

Amazon sword, right? I just pulled one out last night that had over 2ft long roots.. I was shocked! I trimmed it down to about three little shoots coming out and cut back the roots to about 5in.. I got a bunch of new swords and the old timer looked out of place, so he got a huge trim.. Very cool by the way!

When we set up our 40g we put two amazons in the back of the tank. They were only about 4 inches tall. When we took them out to re-do the substrate they were both like yours. I was amazed they grew like that in a 40g. Now they are in a 115g tank (31 inches tall tank btw) and look like babies again. *lol*

helluva big sword there, and i thought mine was large! i've got a 55gal, and the leaves on it are 24"+... i've been thinking about what to do with it...

I'll think it over.. i like it, but it's getting looong (the picture below was taken 5 mins ago). I've also got a red melon that i love, much tighter and shorter.

well... i think i'm ready to let go of this bad dad.. picture was taken just now, and it's a standard 55gal (for reference). i paid about $5 for it.. so i'd be willing to give it up for that plus shipping. let me know if you guys are still interested.
