I got all that for $45 by the way. Anyone know about my filtersock question?

Watch that wrasse. They are known to nip coral. Some do some dont. Good luck. Looks great.

Thats the first I have heard that. Every site says they are reef safe. That sucks lol

Cool, anyone have problems figuring out where you want coral? I really don't want to glue this plug that my mushroom is on to the rock because I don't want to be able to see the plug forever. Any easy way to get it to move off of it?

Ok.... How do you guys feel about a kole tang in my 75 w/ current livestock?

I think a kole tang would be fine with what you currently have, great looking fish! The mushroom should move off of the plug eventually, might take awhile though. Once the mushroom grows it will cover the plug when its fully open too.

Should I buy a 100 or 200 micron filtersock for my overflow? Also, I am looking for a ro/di unit on ebay. Anyone want to pick me out a decent one? I am also about to purchase a protein skimmer. It says it only needs 1/2" of clearence. Does this mean it only need 1/2" clearence between the cup and the stand to get the cup off the top?

Yeah that's what it means. We have that exact skimmer. Love it. Skims like crazy and has from day 1. Its huge though. Ours has about 3/4 inch of clearance from the top of the tank stand. And a word of warning, Don't expect to use the instructions for set up... They're terrible. The directions are our only complaint about the product.

Carey, how has that unit been for you. I feel like I can spend a little more on one of them. DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THE FILTERSOCK lol or does it not matter between 100 and 200 micron.

I know that if you are worried about velvet then a 50 micron sock can catch the nasty bugs in one of the water born stages... but you need to take the sock out several times a day and clean it/sterilize it to make sure that you get them before they hatch out. But for 100 or 200 it depends on what you need... the 200 won't clog as fast but some of the really small particles might get through... I don't think you will notice much difference between the two, as most things in the aquarium are <100 or >200.
