What are their requirements?

The pink is photosynthetic, but the blue will eat cyclopeeze, which I feed a couple times a week already. The blue needs lower light, so I put it at bottom on sand under a rock overhang. Apparently if its in too much light, it will get algae and that can kill it. They need good flow cuz they filter feed. It's beautiful when all the blue polyps are out. :)

Here's a more close up pic of the blue gorgonian with its polyps all out. Wish I could get a pic that would do it justice. Lol. All the polyps are out and it seems to be happy.

It's a long way off for me... but what is your method for acclimatizing corals. do you use the same for fish?

You can either do a drip acclimation with a loose knot tied in some airline tubing or you can add 10% tank water every 10 min after emptying out 10% of the previous water. Either method should take 1-2 hours. Yes, same for fish. :)

How is your blue linkia sea star doing? I really want one, but I've heard they are really hard to keep.

Don't get one. Mine didn't make it. :( He was beautiful and slowly cruised around for a while, but one day found him dead. :( Everything that I've read says that they're usually half dead by the time we buy them. Honestly, it was an impulse buy and a very bad decision on my part. My only impulse buy, and it was a bad one.

You mentioned you got your Zoas in the mail. Where do you order from?

Actually, it was the first time I got any corals in the mail. I got them off of eBay, believe it or not. I have about 5 LFS that do SW around me, but there are some on eBay that I've never seen in any of my LFS. I didn't even know eBay had coral until recently, had never even tried to look there. :) but I hear that aquasd.com, saltwaterfish.com and liveaquaria.com have good corals too, but I've never ordered from them.

Here's some updated pics of the tank. Everything Seemed so happy today. :) I was thinking that the zoas didn't have much growth, but when I compared pics from when I first got them, they've all grown 50-100% more heads. :D

My attempt at starting a zoa garden, most of the blue ones are close cuz a hermit just crossed over them. :/
