Put sand in the newly divided and painted 10 gallon and hooked up a sponge filter and the heater. Looks pretty cool, I did black sand on one side and white on the other and they kind of mix in the middle around the divider. Going to move the two bettas in once the water gets to temperature and start a fish in cycle.

I like it .. make it look more like separate tanks. I had thought about doing that in my bigger tank without the divider n figure it would mix up anyway so why bother .. cant wait to see if completed.

Over the last few days I've added a new to me light fixture, built and painted a stand to hang the lights and added theatre curtains.
Also added 4 heads of bam bam zoah, war coral and a branching digitalis.

That's a great idea! Nice!

Thank you! I have it in the dining room and always worried about too much light getting in the tank after the aquarium lights went out. No more worries!

Added 6 bam bams and 1 morph, 4 green bay packers, 4 armor of god today
Added a single shroom, another candy cane, deepwater acropora, and birdsnest the other day

Cool man. Your fiancé can pull up a chair and put a bikini on and get a tan under that tanning bed lid your using lol

Netted all my baby and juvie yellow labs and put in my 10 gallon quarantine tank so I can re-home then to my LFS on Saturday. It kind of sucked tearing the tank apart the tank to catch them, but its done. I also picked up a male Redfin boreliy for my three females. He's quite a bit smaller than they are right now, but he won't be for long.

Built a canopy for my 27 gallon soon to be planted cube. Come follow along on my journey into my first planted adventure!!

Tomorrow I'm filling and staining :)

I added rocks to my 110 gallon, redid my betta tank, added a mystery snail to his tank, and did pwc's on the goldie tank and my son's tank.
Here's before and after of the betta tank (before is the sponge bob tank), and the new rocks for the big'un.

I added 3 flathead minnows and a three spined stickleback to my 55 gallon native species tank.

Watched my new cleaner shrimp. He's awesome!

Got my Garnet sand Monday morning but was working all evening and all day Tues. Changed my snail bowl from multi blue with green gravel to the Garnet sand. I really like it. My pic looked bad so I will try again later and post one.

1/3 wc on 37G, pulled plants from lots of tanks to send in the mail :), pwc on OEBT tank, PWC on 32G Rainbow blue platys with babies. Added water to 6.6G Edge, still not foaming any more, realized when I cleaned it I hadn't plugged in my heater, brrrrrrr... then watched the two female guppies and one was popping out babies, and shrimp 16G.

Counted my OEBT shrimp best I could. Looks like 9 at least, found out I missed out on the local for sale OEBT, guy was sold out by the time he got back to me.

Here's the sand from Emerald Creek in Idaho USA where they mine star Garnets. It was 50 pounds for $18.99. But very dense, so I may have to get another bag for the 37G when I decide to change it over. Colors will vary depending on loccation and what type of material/garnet they are mining for. This was as coarse sand as I could get, I think it was 36 grit (packaged for sand blasting).

Added new plants to my elephant nose tank and bought myself a butterfly plec he's really tiny next to my bristle :)

Did a quick water change on the 10 gallon for my new betta before he got here, and ended up making more of a mess on the sand than I took out... Tiny plant bits are now all over the sand again, but the water is nice and clean. Got my package with the betta I ordered from aquabid, and now he is acclimating into his new home!! So excited, it feels like I've been waiting for him for months.
