I want to see if there are any online place to buy plants. Let me know who has good plants and prices from your experiences.
Did you get plants? Are they healthy and would you buy from the site again? Thanks

I suggest Peabody's Paradise. They have nice and healthy plants and are usually pretty cheap. I have not ordered from them yet but have heard many good things, and will be ordering soon.

i have done a few orders with his website, they are very professional and helpful!=)

What is the site? I googled it and nothing comes up. I can access it from your posted link but other than that I can't get to the site

I've only ordered plants on line from Extraplant.com but I am very happy with there service and quality. Prices seemed reasonable also. Shipping was very quick. OS.

I was looking aquariumplants.com but they have horrible reviews. They a lot of plants to choose from.

I ordered from them (AP) once (did not post a review) and there was one mix up (needed 10 of A and 20 of B but got the other way around). Plus they threw in a few extras.
I ordered in mid January and the lack of a heat pack plus riding in a cold delivery truck all day did not help. If I order again it will be when the temps get higher. There is a discount for making the minimum order but that could result in a lot of plants (unless you split the order amongst a few folks).

I don't recommend Arizona Gardens. I did a $145 order and all I have to show for it is 5 live Zebra Nerite Snails, the 14 Olives came dead in stinking water. The UV sterilizer I ordered at the same time never showed up. This order was made 3rd week February. I have tried to contact them several times and they have never replied. Took my money really quick though. LOL Go figure. I have copied my order receipt and send it and a complaint letter to our state consumer affairs division. But for just a $145 issue, I doubt I will get anything done. OS.

Are you talking about the reviews on their site? If so only a fraction of people write reviews and often it's by unhappy people. My one tank is a 220g planted with mostly stems (so we are talking hundreds of plants) of which probably 90% came from AquariumPlants. I've had several orders over a few years and the couple times there was a problem a simple phone call took care of it.

ExtraPlant also has a large variety and good customer service.

Something else is before ordering, it is up to the consumer to see how plants are shipped. Extraplant uses styroform boxes in the winter with a heat pack. They use ice packs in the summer. AquariumPlant does neither. But even with an ice pack in high summer temps plants often don't fare well. So anytime you order plants from a company or individual you have to take into consideration the temps from where the plants come from all the way to where their destination is. Most individuals want cheap shipping which means in extreme temps plants have a much higher chance of damage or even death the longer they are in transit. Spring and fall are the best shipping times IMO.

I bet that's true that the only people that review are disgruntled.. I think I'm going to go to my local shops an if they are way more than aquariumplants.com I will order online.
