ph 7.6
ammonia 8.0
nitrate 0
nitrite 0
temp 72

so please help

Glo fish aren't supposed to be in salt water. So I'd start by continuing to do partial water changes without adding salt. 2nd, your water conditioner probably takes care of ammonia (read the bottle) so it may not be necessary to use that. Use the ammonia detoxifier if you ever see a huge spike in ammonia, not when you add new water.

Your ammonia levels are CRAZY high too. Do like 50% water changes 2 or 3 times a day until you get that under control.

Also, to get your the nitrogen cycle moving along a bit more quickly, you can raise the temperature of the tank slightly. Maybe 76-78 degrees.

the salt is made for fresh water tanks and i was told to do water changes every 2 weeks bc its a new tank and im just ruining the cycle if i do water changes so much and i would have to start over and it takes 4 to 8 weeks to get it established also right

you have fish in that tank. the fish come first. your cycle is going to take longer because you need to keep toxin levels low so you don't kill your fish. i decided to do a fish-in cycle as well and did partial water changes every day or two for about 3 weeks.

so ever 2 to 3 days and should i add prime every day also

Ya, prime is all you need. It detoxifies ammonia for about 24 hours. So if you do a water change every day and add prime, you should be safe. do a lot of water changes right now to get ammonia back to safe levels and then do smaller water changes to keep ammonia levels below 2 ppm. i'm sure plenty of other people would tell you to keep it even lower. prime claims to have the bacteria in it that you need to help jump-start the cycle too.

can i add the water condition also i do waterchanges every 2 to 3 days or once a day or twice a dat

add prime with every water change. just make sure you're adding the right amount. if you a 20% water change that's only 4 gallons so you would only need a few drops of prime. just get those ammonia levels under control. then you can slow down on water changes a bit.

first, you should learn how to type properly. vacuum half of your gravel every week or two. never all of it at once.

Lol wow some people on here are so rude. Let them type how they like. If your having trouble also feeding your fish I would try topfin tropical flakes. Hikari wafers r good to if you ever get any algae eaters. Some fish even enjoy blanched zucchini. As for your water if you do a water change till it settles down you will see inprovement with your fish. If you see cloudyness btw through your water changes this is common. Left over food can also cause it so remove what they are not eating after a period of time.

Oh yeah dont add a full cap of prime to the 25% of water you change. Can be very bad, just a drop or 2 is good.

i have 2 cory cats to help with the left over food lol but ya its been clpudy for weeks and its starting to really get better now i was almost giving up but i stick with it

Most fish will acclimate to your pH, whatever it is.*Just dont add anything new until it settles down a bit.
