Will petco take my fish back?

Hello! I recently got my fish, and I realized that I am overstocked with 3 balloon mollies in my 10 gallon. I would like to take my fish back to petco where I bought them a few days ago. Will they take my fish back? How should I take them to the store?

I would call and asked them. They might. I know pets mart as a 14 day thing for it. What are you planning on to stock you new tank with

My LFS has a 24hr return policy. Which by the way is not written anywhere; you learn about it when trying to return fish. I simply gave mine back no cash no store credit. its a bumer! but what can you do.

Any clean container should work. I would call them and check before you take them out of their home
