Hi guys. I have a 25 gallon tank with two t5 bulbs (6700k and colormax). Dose flourish twice a week recently added root tabs. Is co2 necessary when you have fish? If co2 helps plants grow and become more green, what is a good system for a 25 gal? Thanks for your help.

I have a coralife t5 fixture not sure whether it is HO or NO

Want my plants to grow faster and curiosity too... :)

You can do diy, but it's a pain in the rear, IMO. A paintball setup would be better. I use the GLA atomic V2 regulator. The Aquatek regulator would be a cheaper option, but from what I hear is still of good quality.

With that lighting I am not sure if CO2 would help. It might.
I would suggest DIY as a low cost "test" to see if the plants respond positively or not to the addition of CO2. If not, then at least you did not buy a system that you did not need.

What is a paintball? And are these systems expensive?

Okay that sounds like a good idea. I still have no clue how to properly make a diy co2 system though.

Additional co2 is always beneficial, even in low light tanks it helps a great deal. I've ran diy in a very very low light tank and saw huge improvements of health and growth. Like I said, it's not always necessary, but is always beneficial.

What should I attach my airline tubing to?

I heard that the glass diffusers dont work with diy co2

Oh okay. One more thing. Do you run this at night too? How do you stop if if not?
