Thanks - I have you to thank for the pair. One of your posts about the different varieties of cichlids suitable for smaller tanks got me looking around, and I ended up order this pair in. Couldn't pass them up ~ some of those little known varieties are really stunning.

For sure, I briefly kept a pair of pelvicachromis pulcher "Nigerian red" and while it is still a pulcher, the Nigerian reds were awesome, my male was almost all red! I ended up trading them on to someone with a tank more suited for them, they weren't doing the greatest in my 75 south amerian
