Not sure what it is, but any time i have seen something 'off' about my
Discus, i turn out the lights, make sure the water perimeters are perfect and up the temp. I used medication once and it took out a few of my discus so i try to keep it simple.
That particular fish is around 3 years old. I do between 20-30 gallon water changes daily. It's a 120 gallon tank. Water parameters are exactly what you'd want in a discus tank.
It is indeed a pimple. Discus have pores just like humans and it became irritated and infected, therefore producing that pimple. When it pops it will leave a small hole. You can remove it from the tank and use a qtip to dab a little H2O2 on it for 3-5 days after if you wish. Just keep the good WC's going. Nothing to stress over. You're more worried than it is a about it.
Sent from my iPhone that doesn't like me. Or you !!
