So when I upgraded the 33L to a 55 my intent was to keep the 33 as a spare emergency tank. That was 5 days ago and I cant stand it sitting empty so I was wondering if 1 pair of any of these would work with a school of something. What do you think?.........HUKIT????......

I don't know Brookster. It seems like I can even kill weeds. Plants just never liked me.:(

Nope.. you can grow java ferns and anubias.. affix them to some gnarly dw and you're styling like Woody Harrelson at an all you can eat Chinese food buffet!

I'm also open to other suggestions. Even maybe a species only Tanganyika setup

Hey those fish look awfully familiar! Honestly Mike anything in Cryptoheros or Amatitlania would work well. I'd start out with 5-6 and wait for a pair and re-home the rest.

The swap meet is Sunday so maybe that would give you a chance to see what is available, none of those fish I have will be found locally at our LFS's

Ill have to go look. The tank wont be up for a while because all equipment was moved to the 55. Just looking for ideas and wanted to make sure the gallons wouldn't be a problem.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Bolingbrook had the Honduran sp and Cutteri there. The Honduran's were $20 and the Cutteri were I think $29.

That's ridiculous, my F1 cutteri from Rio mongo, Honduras were like $6 each and my F1 Rio Danli Hondurans from Rusty Wessels pair were $30 for 6 shipped.

I know they are expensive there and I'm not a club member. I think I paid $19.99 for the Lyonsi.

The sajica's are my fav. Probably a little big for your empty tank.
