Blue velvets that I got a few days ago

They are so much harder to get pics of than my other colors! They look even more blue in person. And some really nice saddles so hoping for some babies!!

How are your blues? I'm still not terribly excited about their colors but I did notice some shrimplets in the tank yesterday!

Ehhh. Some of them a a great blue and others are still clear/very little color. There are like 3 or 4 of the 25 that are a good color (The ones we bought from the same person) then the blues I got at my local auction are like 10x bluer.

Sorry it isn't the greatest picture. My son is asleep on my arm and I saw it and couldn't resist - even if it was done on my phone on my non dominant hand.

So, a shrimp decided to hide inside my co2 diffuser.
Lot of danger awaits on the other side. Its probably going to stat here for a while.

This is a offspring of a mix of RCS and yellow shrimps. I'm surprised to see a clear one as the other ones are just brown/wild colour.

That blue velvet is beautiful.
Thank you. Only about 1/3rd are that blue, then the rest are a fair medium to medium light blue. They do color better when they eat foods with algae and astaxanthin, but I feed them a little of everything for a good diet when they eat the more brown foods they look more green because you can see the food color inside them and they look a little tinted (blue and yellow or brownish make green lol.)

My camera sucks.. Here is one of the many mixed/wild red cherry in my 65g.

Found this shrimp in the community tank. Not sure what it mixed with to become like this.
