So my blue pearls arrived today. They are in with 3 boraras urophthalmoides. ( will be adding more later for a better school)

Here are a few pics. For whatever reason the pics don't do justice on the blue. They're still coloring up since they were shipped and just added today. They're a pale ice blue

Nice! Mine arrived last week, earlier than expected so they're in the badis tank. The substrate is black sand with natural colored pebbles that make it nearly impossible to see the shrimp.

Looking forward to more pics!

+1 I thought so too. When molting they sort of lay on their side and look sort of dead, then they swim awkwardly away and leave a shrimp sized white husk behind. :p I only ever saw a molt up close once and it was super weird.

Anyway, here's a pick or two! ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1429064995.675139.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1429065032.727979.jpg

He has them listed as blue pearls. I just got mine from him on Monday. Final starting to color up a little. For me of all the colors I have these guys are taking the longest to color up. But blues are way more finicky than others

Ok. Thank you! Do you think they would be too light for an orangish substrate? I use flourite and I'm worried that they won't show up on the substrate! ;)

If I did a tank dedicated to them I'd personally go with black or as dark brown as possible.

Here is a offspring of a fire red and possibly a yellow shrimp. The other Shrimps in the tank are a crystal and a black kingkong..
