Gosh, I've been away too long. It's nice to see another 60F make waves here. I just love this footprint and the unique perspective a shallow planted provides. I had a good run with my 60F, may she rest in peace. Can't wait to see how this one develops!

Quick update -

Substrate shipped out yesterday. I will probably get it on Saturday or Sunday. I still do not have confirmation of a few items being shipped yet but with Christmas 2 days away I am not surprised.

Last night I ordered my lily pipes. Originally I ordered DoAqua violet glass but they were back ordered so I canceled the order. We will see how the ones I ordered look and if they suck I will order new ones.

All the stuff I ordered from AFA is on the road. Will not be here until next week. That includes the tank.

I'm really itching to get this going!

Here is a pic of the stone - the previous pic of this stone was while it was still in the box. There are some nice pieces in this grouping. I still think I want to get a large stone.

Looks like I have a few things out for delivery today. If they actually arrive today I will post pics. I have a lot of stuff in transit right now so I will be posting pics of new stuff over the next several days.

Well I am less than pleased...

My lily pipes and drop checker were allegedly delivered on Saturday. According to the post office the package was delivered. I however received a slip stating it was dropped at the leasing office. Alas the leasing office does not have a package for me. I called the post office back and they cannot find it and I have to wait until tomorrow when the driver that delivers on my route comes in. :-/

Substrate is scheduled to deliver tomorrow. The tank, light, power sand, canister filter, and a few other items are scheduled to deliver on Wednesday. I'm going to Ikea tomorrow to buy the cabinet (decided not to build, I can buy cheaper).

I estimate that I will be in full build for this tank by next weekend.

I got goodies!!!!!

Now I just need a few more things. I need to take a trip out to Ikea for the cabinet, wait for the lily pipes to come tomorrow (confirmed with the post office) wait for my heater to arrive, pick up a new co2 tank...been waiting on that. I'm still waiting on my regulator and a few other minor items.

You have a feline box inspector as well.
I noticed the phosban reactor in the pic with the bags of substrate. Will you be using that as a CO2 reactor or is that a remnant of your SW days?
