Khuli Loach one of my favs.

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

Okay, thank you. Maybe another trip to the craft store.

The clear matte, looks similar to the sheets on the shelf for metal restaurant/pantry SS racks to keep things from falling through.

The clear is thin enough to cut with good scissors. The black needed 2 passes with a new box knife.

When I set up my 20Long I will use the clear and attempt a gradient background paint.

Did my biweekly PWC and vacuum. Planted the rest of my crypts and dwarf sag. Rearranged the other Buce bits on rocks. Liking this a bit better. Tomorrow's adventure is the set up the new 20Long snail nursery. IMG_1483839878.617119.jpg

Now I'm going to jinx the whole thing. I did this major change and so far no casualties! I think having everything soak in tank water for weeks kept impact on the fish to a minimum? Or just dumb luck.

I think it's better. The right side now looks like a nice overgrown boulder feature that could be teeming with wildlife.

Thanks!
There is a grapefruit sized cave in the rock accessible from the front and back. All the Khuli's and shrimp were over there while I was cleaning and they all wandered out when I was done.

I was concerned when I removed all of my old substrate and gunk and half the water that my nitrates would be low and the plants would suffer. My test is a good 80? I don't believe it. I did buy this kit 10+ years ago. IMG_1484525948.010134.jpg

Maybe do a search for a new FW testing kit? I got one myself last week and it has an expiration date printed on the front for 2021. I don't know much about this myself since I am only just getting back into the hobby recently so I would wait for advice from the others.

Did my PWC, vacuum and canister cleaning today. Did some tank time to try and get some new pics. These Dwarf Rainbow Tetras have such pretty color. IMG_7275.jpgIMG_7280.jpgIMG_7302.jpgIMG_7305.jpgIMG_7314.jpg

Autumnsky recommended it and I'm so happy she did. After removing all my tumbled glass it fills my craving for color.

Had an old snail pass. Did a PWC. Played with different light settings and the fish all freaked out and hid. IMG_7362.jpg
