Hey*, I'm getting a new 70g aquarium to be exact the measurement are 48×16×21. I wanted some advice on stocking suggestions. I really like corydoras and I know they need to be in groups of 6 or more how many could I have? And I will also be moving in my single blood parrot which is only 2 inches at most. So it obviously has to be compatible. Should I just get more Parrots if so how many? Or can I mix other cichlids with them? Or any other fish?

Also would a AC110 and AC50 be enough filtration for a 70g??

Any ideas would be appreciated

Thanks

You could probably get a dozen or so corys, or 2 different species in groups of 6, if you wanted more variety.
Blood parrots get fairly large; up to 8" and heavy, so you wouldn't want to put too much in with it, but you could check out some of the more peaceful New World cichlids, like Blue Acara. You could probably do a pair of them. Rams, or other dwarf cichlids would probably also work, provided your parrot isn't overly aggressive.

for a tank that size I would get at least get 10 of any one type of corydora. I feel like you could maybe even do 10 of another without being bottom heavy.

How does this set up sound

2 BP
4 blue rams
12 Congo tetra
12 corys

Any suggestions?

Too much, IMO. If you get a second parrot, I would skip the tetras and probably limit it to 2 rams. As Barliman says though: if your filtration is good, and you can keep up on maintenance and large water changes at least weekly, you could probably get by with 4 rams. Watch for parrot aggression with your rams.

I'm going to be running a fluval 404 =340gph and a tidal 110 =450gph so total =790gph for my 75g
And I'm always doing weekly water changes.
