You know, it might be a Ritteri. It was given to me by a local reef club member and it's known in the club as a Green Tip BTA. When I first put it in my tank, the tips did bubble up. They have never done that since.
To raise mag just 10 ppm, you need a considerable amount of Magnesium. Mag Chloride can be expensive so people typically mix chloride with mag sulfate. If you are asking about what Aquarium branded product I use, I can't speak to that. You'll have to figure that out on your own.

Thanks all! I recently upgraded my controller to an Apex. The expandability of this controller is amazing.. I'm using a relatively small amount of its power with my setup now.. Love the email alarms and web based interface.
The question should be what is Mag? Well, Mag is typically a combination of Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate. Since Magnesium is a Sulfate, it can build up and increase your salinity over time, especially if not keeping up on water changes. I usually adjust my water change parameters...
